Harmony, Balance, Health.

“I LOVE my work – it’s so rewarding to share my knowledge and empower others to take charge of their health and improve their quality of life.”

Before healthcare, I had a career that was creative, challenging and collaborative but never resonated with who I was at the core.

I love connecting with people and I’d always felt driven to help and support on a personal level. I believe in following my passions, so I searched for another path that would be the right fit.

But change and transition can be a struggle and the stress of feeling “stuck” can manifest physical pain. Having grown up with healthcare that included Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I went to see an acupuncturist to help manage my stress pain and those sessions ended up changing my life. Not only did my pain resolve but the more I learned about acupuncture the more I wanted to know and it wasn’t long before I realized that this was what I was truly meant to be doing.

My first challenge occurred while I was still studying: I was hit by a car while crossing at an intersection and my shoulder and hip were broken. Fortunately I had the right tools to help with my own healing: tuina massage on painful limbs, an eastern nutritional diet to help speed my body’s recovery, deep breathing and meditation to calm the mind, and an army of friends, family and healthcare practitioners (including acupuncturists) to support me. The experience confirmed that I was on the right path and strengthened my resolve to fully heal so that I would be able to help others do the same.

With a blend of TCM- and Japanese-style acupuncture I’m able to treat many conditions that people often just accept and live with because they haven’t found an effective solution. Conditions like migraine headaches, menstrual cramps, chronic anxiety and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) can be debilitating and disruptive but they’re resolvable with the right treatment approach.

I LOVE my work – it’s so rewarding to be able to share my knowledge and empower people so they can take charge of their own health and improve their quality of life. I strongly believe that healthcare is a partnership between practitioner and client. I’m committed to working with you to provide relief and as well as to establish the root cause of your imbalance in order to foster long-term change and healing.

It’s my mission to help as many people as possible be the healthiest, happiest and truest selves they can be. Sessions involve acupuncture supported by cupping, tuina massage, moxibustion, and auricular seed therapy, as well as nutritional and lifestyle coaching to help improve overall health. Every person is unique and the body’s needs shift from day to day, so treatments will vary from visit to visit.

While acupuncture treatment is a time for relaxation, please feel free to ask any questions during your appointment and I will be more than happy to answer!
